In the wake of Macedonian President Ivanov’s decision to pardon all of those associated with the political bombs among others, I have a modest proposal for Macedonia. One of the hallmarks of a democratic and open government is a free and transparent bidding process on government proposals and projects. This is a policy that should be embraced by Macedonia in light of its stated objective to increase democratization and become more business-friendly.
With this in mind, I propose the following: Whenever the President of the Republic of Macedonia makes an important decision, anyone may bid for his decision along with politicians and criminals. Under the current system, when the President makes a decision only politicians and criminals get the chance to bribe him. This change would make the process more transparent and ensure that all business interests and regular people in Macedonia get their fair chance to bribe the President without first bribing intermediate crony politicians, eliminating the middleman and making the system more efficient.
This decision would also allow a novel idea to come to the fore in Macedonia: the citizens’ desires being taken into account. Votes count for little, but money always talks. So while voting in Macedonia might not work to change things, under the new system citizens would be able to crowd-fund money to bribe their elected officials. For example, if someone were to commit a crime , the perpetrator could crowd-fund a bribe from the people of Macedonia in order to secure a pardon for themselves. This would make the system much more transparent and allow even those who aren’t elites access to all the benefits that bribes can confer. This would put them on an even playing ground with the rich and powerful in Macedonia who already do the same and might lead to a new age of democratization in Macedonia. With such a system in place, the future for Macedonia would be brighter than ever.

По одлуката на претседателот Иванов да помилува политичари кои се сомничат за направен криминал, имам еден скромен предлог за Македонија.
Еве вака, едно од обележјата на секоја „демократија“ е граѓаните да смеат да лицитираат со идеи за нови владини проекти, така ?? За Македонија ова би било „права ствар“, пошто нели земјата сака да се демократизира и да стане по business-friendly, што би рекле западњациве.
Значи предлогот ми е следен: Од сега натаму секој да може фино лепо да лицитира за да си добие претседателска аболиција, наместо тоа да го можат само политичарите! Зошто па само тие да смеат ?? Вака секоја фирма во Македонија би добила шанса најтранспарентно да си го подмити претседателот директно наместо да се замара да подмитува помилувани политичари да прават криминали во нивно име… чуму посредници !?
Уште еден ќар од целава работа: конечно би се почитувале желбите на граѓаните! Пошто нели гласањето на избори не вреди многу, ама паричката секогаш врши работа. Штом направиш криминал си ја вадиш фино лепо целата заштеда од банка и си плаќаш аболиција. Наеднаш секој ја осеќа убавината на митото и преку ваквата колективна катарза демосот станува побединет од било кога. Па мислам има ли појак начин на демократизација ??
